Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet
Put the peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix them together
Mix well until everything is smooth and creamy
Mix the baking soda and salt into the mixture again until they are fully mixed in
Take tablespoon-sized chunks of dough and roll them into balls
Dont crowd the balls on the baking sheet; leave some space between them
Press down gently on the dough balls with a fork to make a crisscross pattern on each cookie
Put the cookies in an oven that has already been heated for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just barely golden
Take the baking sheet out of the oven and let the cookies cool for five minutes on it
Then move them to a wire rack to finish cooling
The cookies are ready to eat once they are quite cool
